- Remote Control is more ready for real production use. The live remote now keeps key controls in one menu, including auto-present, Bible version, Bible theme, and lyrics theme selection.
- Lyrics control from the remote was refined so changing lines or sections feels smoother and avoids unnecessary display flashing.
- Trusted remote management is clearer in the desktop app, with better spacing, safer preference behavior, and revoke access support.
- The onboarding tour now normalizes the desktop workflow by switching to the Bible tab before the tour begins, whether it starts automatically or from a manual entry point.
- The desktop authentication screen was polished so the primary sign-in action reads correctly and account help opens the account center directly.
Improvements
- Added a remote menu for live remote settings so global controls do not crowd the main remote workspace.
- Moved Bible version, Bible theme, lyrics theme, and auto-present controls into the remote menu.
- Removed duplicated lyrics theme selection from the remote Lyrics tab now that it lives in the global remote menu.
- Improved remote menu behavior so it closes when focus leaves the menu.
- Refined the remote desktop modal layout with better card alignment, spacing between switch text and controls, disabled email-session details when startup remote is off, and extra bottom breathing room for scrolling.
- Added trusted remote revocation from the desktop app so operators can remove approval-free access when a device should no longer be trusted.
- Refined release-note and update modal behavior so release highlights come from the release-note files instead of hard-coded fallback copy.
Fixes
- Fixed the desktop onboarding tour so it always starts from the Bible tab and closes Settings before showing tour targets.
- Fixed the desktop sign-in button icon color so it matches the dark foreground of the gold primary button.
- Fixed the account help link on the desktop sign-in screen so it opens Account Center instead of the landing page.
- Fixed remote settings copy and switch placement where long text could collide with controls.
- Fixed update check progress not showing.
Known issues
- Remote Control still depends on the cloud relay and a healthy authenticated desktop session.
- Trusted remotes are intended for approved operators and should be revoked from the desktop app when a device is no longer in use.
Notes
- This release is a polish and reliability pass focused on live-operation confidence: fewer awkward layouts, clearer remote controls, better onboarding behavior, and more consistent public product presentation.
- No breaking workflow changes are expected. Existing remote sessions, lyrics, themes, and scripture workflows continue to use the desktop app as the source of truth.
