v0.1.1

transcriptionscripture-detectionvoice-controlsbible-versionslyricsupdatestheme-editor

Highlights

  • Live transcription uses lower-latency AssemblyAI settings, including smaller audio chunks and configurable turn-silence thresholds, so transcript segments should finalize more naturally without creating as many tiny one-word turns.
  • Scripture detection is more deliberate about intent. Spoken ranges such as "Matthew 3 verse 4 to 8" now resolve to the first verse, chapter-only references open verse 1 without auto-presenting, and pending book/chapter context expires quickly enough to reduce stale matches.
  • Transcript voice controls now support Bible version changes as well as scripture navigation, and a desktop setting can disable transcript-driven verse and version controls when teams want detection without voice commands.
  • The Lyrics tab now has a persistent Cue for prepared songs. Operators can add songs from the library or the active lyrics view, reorder or clear the cue, and open the next prepared song without presenting anything until they manually stage lyrics.
  • Cloud Bible results normalize references more consistently, including full book names and joined passage ranges such as Message-style multi-verse blocks.
  • Desktop update plumbing and macOS release feeds were refined so Apple Silicon and Intel channels can use architecture-specific package paths.

Improvements

  • Reduced partial-to-final duplicate windows and pending book/chapter memory to improve verse detection accuracy across transcript segments.
  • Added compact scripture labels in transcript auto-search strips, such as abbreviated book names, while preserving full references for navigation and presenting.
  • Lyrics cue items are stored as song snapshots in the user profile, so the cue remains available across app restarts and service sessions until it is cleared.
  • Added improvement telemetry hooks for local desktop search and semantic search diagnostics.
  • Made the desktop version pill open the What's New modal directly.
  • Refactored Theme Editor slider rows so labels, sliders, and values align consistently.

Fixes

  • Fixed stage background image flicker during canvas rendering.
  • Fixed verse-only transcript phrases so ordinary speech like "verse 14" is handled only when it is a real navigation command.
  • Fixed cloud/local reference display differences by normalizing book names and passage range labels.
  • Fixed trusted remote cleanup so remote control is stopped when the desktop transcript session ends.

Known issues

  • Transcript voice commands depend on transcription quality; noisy audio can still require manual correction.

Notes

  • This release focuses on live desktop reliability: faster transcription turns, cleaner scripture intent handling, safer voice-control behavior, prepared lyrics cueing, better Bible reference display, and more predictable update packaging.
